Score a New Outfit Sustainably at The Good Loop x Prana Clothing Swap
If you want an eco-friendly and affordable wardrobe refresh this holiday season, then The Good Loop x Prana clothing swap is the event for you.
Clothing swaps are essentially what they sound like. They’re community events where you can “trade in” your gently used clothing items and swap them for different items brought by other attendees. They’re an excellent way to get some new outfits and get rid out of old clothes you don’t wear anymore — all without spending a dollar.
On Saturday, Dec. 6, local clothing swap organizer The Good Loop is partnering with San Diego wellness clothing brand Prana to host a holiday clothing swap in Oceanside.
- Register for the event online. It’s completely free to attend, but RSVPs are required.
- Bring up to 10 pieces of gently loved clothing.
- Check in at The Good Loop clothing swap entrance.
- Hang your items on provided racks, and then start swapping.
Along the way, you’ll also be able to chat about sustainable fashion, make new friends, and enjoy the community-centric vibes. It’s a great opportunity to practice being more eco-friendly in your day-to-day life.
The Good Loop notes that gently loved pants, shirts, dresses, blouses, hats, belts, jackets, bags, shorts, and shoes will be swappable at the clothing swap. Undergarments, socks, swimwear, jewelry, sunglasses, or children’s clothing won’t be.
The event is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Dec. 6 at Dear Tomorrow, an event venue located at 216 S Fremont St in Oceanside. Plenty of free parking will be available at the Oceanside Transit Center. You can RSVP to the clothing swap or find more information at this link.
