Celebrate Christmas at the Coastal Holiday Festival in Del Mar!
If you’re looking for a Christmas activity this weekend for the entire family, look no further than the Coastal Holiday Festival at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.
Each year, the Fairgrounds in Del Mar host this Christmas-themed extravaganza with lights, activities, and more. This year, the festival is available from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Dec. 21 through Dec. 26, as well as on Dec. 29 and Dec. 30.
As far as what you can expect at the Coastal Holiday Festival, here’s a short list of festive fun.
- A walk-through display of more than 1 million holiday lights
- An ice skating rink
- A fully fledged holiday market
- Frosty’s Fun Zone play area for children
- Meet-and-greet with Santa and friends
- Free photo opportunities with Santa
- Festive food and drinks
Additionally, you can also reserve igloos or fireside lounges for a cozier vibe at the Coastal Holiday Festival. Each igloo or lounge includes s’mores, the option to add a charcuterie box, and a dedicated server for drinks.
On Friday, Dec. 21, the festival will also host a princess holiday party where attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favorite royal. On Dec. 22, Santa and Peppermint Polly will don ice skates for a holiday skate party.
The Coastal Holiday Festival takes place at the Del Mar Racetrack and fairgrounds at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd in Del Mar, California. Hours are 4 p.m. through 9 p.m. each day they’re open.
Tickets are available starting at $19.99 for adults, and $14.95 for children aged 4 through 12. Additional activities, such as the igloos or Frosty’s Fun Zone, require an additional purchase.
