North County Women’s Surf Connection, Surf + Yoga Event & More
One of the best parts about surfing in San Diego is the community — and there’s an opportunity to connect with women surfers in early March.
The North County SD Women’s Surf Connection is a monthly event that allows women in North San Diego County to meet up, find community, and ultimately connect over a shared love of surfing.
The next Women’s Surf Connection is scheduled for 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Friday, March 7. Attendees will meet up at the Surfing Fire Kiosk on the south side of the Oceanside Pier.
All skill levels are welcome, but do note that there won’t be surf coaching or lessons available at the Surf Connection event. However, the event itself is completely free for surfers to attend.
If you’d like to find some Zen alongside your surf session, Surfin Fire Oceanside is also hosting a Surf + Yoga session at the Oceanside Pier on Saturday, March 15.
Along with beach yoga and in-water surf coaching, the event will feature a media package, beach games, and an opportunity to learn about partner nonprofit Surf for Life and its sustainable, global give-back projects.
