Explore La Jolla’s Beauty During the Secret Garden Tour on May 17
If you’ve ever wanted to explore some of the most beautiful private gardens in California, the Secret Garden Tour of La Jolla on May 17 is the event for you.
Each year, the La Jolla Historical Society presents the Secret Garden Tour, which allows guests the opportunity to step into the gorgeous world of La Jolla’s private and secret gardens. This year marks the 26th annual iteration of the event, as well as a legacy of financial support for one of the best museums in La Jolla.
There will be six spectacular La Jolla locations available for exploring during the Secret Garden Tour, though the exact gardens remain a closely guarded secret until the day of the event. Each garden will offer unique settings and beautiful sights, as well as live musicians, plein air artists, and dining table designs.
The tour is available in two distinct options: you can either take a self-guided tour of the gardens or participate in the popular Platinum Tour, which features a seventh garden, catered lunch, and docent-led shuttle service to each of the locations.
In addition to the garden tours, the La Jolla Historical Society will also be hosting The Secret Garden Boutique at Wisteria Cottage on the day. The event, which is open to the public, will feature a collection of curated gardening accessories, gifts, and plants available for purchase. Each boutique vendor is known for unique artistic styling and craftsmanship. There will also be a silent auction with one-of-a-kind items, and delicious, locally-sourced eats available.
