Celebrate the Arrival of Autumn with this Fall Equinox Event at Fox Point Farms
The season of cooler temperatures, pumpkin spice, and autumnal decor is nearly upon us, and you can ring in the change of seasons at an upcoming Fall Equinox event at Fox Point Farms.
On Sunday, Sept. 22, Fox Point Farms and the Wyldflower Collectivwill host a community wellness event in celebration of the fall equinox. The event runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Sept. 22, and includes a full slate of movement, art, music, and other activities alongside a market with various wellness vendors.
Although tickets are required for art or yoga activities, the other aspects of the event are fully open to the public. For example:
- Family friendly yoga flow and sound bowl healing
- Local wellness vendors, including acupuncture, body workers, chiropractors, and more
- Community music circle
- Kids art station
- Community wellness panel
If you’re not familiar with Fox Point Farms, it’s one of the first “agrihoods” to land in San Diego County. An agrihood is essentially a planned community with a focus on living near sustainable farms and other community services.
Whether or not you’re living in Encinitas or just visiting, the Fall Equinox event is a great way to experience the lifestyle at Fox Point Farms and to catch a glimpse of a more sustainable future.
Tickets to the Fall Equinox Event at Fox Point Farms start at $30 per person for adults and $10 per person for kids. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Unplug Collaborative, a nonprofit that promotes digital wellness.
