Reset Your Dopamine at the Collectively Well Digital Cleanse in OB
We all could spend less time on our devices, but if actually digital detoxing is easier said than done, then this Collectively Well digital cleanse might be just the thing for you.
Collectively Well is a San Diego wellness community that hosts a range of different mindfulness, self-care, and breathwork events and pop-ups throughout the region. One example is the off-grid social club, which is a program designed to help you digitally detox through embodied awareness and mindfulness practices.
From 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, Collectively Well and Misfit Medicine will host a digital cleanse event at a private outdoor space in Ocean Beach. It promises to help you “disconnect from your screen” and “reconnect with yourself in community.”
As you might expect, the Collectively Well digital cleanse starts with switching off your smartphone or other devices before dropping into a 30-minute hatha yoga flow. After yoga, there will be a 30-minute breathwork session and sound bath savasana.
All bodies and experience levels are welcome at the event. You won’t need anything special, but the organizers suggest you bring a yoga mat, yoga towel, eye mask, water, and a journal. Basically, anything that can help you feel supported and comfortable during the practice.
The event will be a great way to start 2026 off on a calmer and less digitally detached note. Tickets start at $25 for nonmembers, while members of the off grid social club membership can attend for free.
