Overview & Amenities

From the Point Loma restaurant group who brought you Cesarina comes Neapolitan pizza, house-made cheese, and more: Angelo!

The city is a-buzz with news that Cesarina is expanding their world-class Italian food offerings–right across the street. The new restaurant will be called Angelo.

What’s so exciting about another Italian restaurant in San Diego? Aside from the Cesarina Restaurant Group’s pedigree (which ought to be enough), Angelo will focus on Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood-fired pizza oven along with antipasti and other enticing food and beverage options. Not only that, but they’ll make many of their own cheeses right there where you can watch. The cheeses will be available for topping pizzas and also for purchasing to-go. Who doesn’t like fresh-made mozzarella?

Will there be vegan and/or gluten free options? Our advance intel says yes to both.

Angelo will be in a former warehouse across the street form Cesarina in Point Loma, and the design promises to be stunning. After all, they’ve hired architects from Rome to help with the makeover.

There’s no set date for when Angelo Point Loma will be open, but we can’t wait until it does!
