BirdStock Music Festival Returns to La Jolla on October 19

The third annual BirdStock music festival returns to La Jolla, and it’s bringing even more music, community, and fun to the jewel of San Diego later this month.

The festival is slated to run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 19 in the Bird Rock neighborhood. It’ll feature live music, refreshments from local La Jolla restaurants, an artisan market, family friendly activities, and more.

Notably, this year the BirdStock Music Festival will close La Jolla Boulevard, which will make it a “bigger, better, and safer experience for all.”

There will be a variety of music stages, including a kids-only stage. Some of the main stage artists on the lineup this year include:

  • Lioneer
  • Seapoodle
  • Pocket Change
  • The Voices
  • Tecolote Vanyon
  • The Sandcasters
  • The Bird Rockters
  • Mark Fisher
  • DJ sets by DJ Johnny Varsity

Additionally, you can expect local artists, merchant raffles, food and drink specials, mini-golf, dance performances, sidewalk sales, and a beer garden from the “small festival with a big heart.” All of this is to say that the BirdStock Music Festival is one of the best ways to experience the local flavor and community in La Jolla.

As always, proceeds from the event will support Bird Rock Elementary School, as well as future BirdStock festivals.
