Pupapalooza 2024: Inside San Diego’s Dog-Friendly ‘Pawty’
If you’re a fan of dogs, beer, and making a difference, the Pupapalooza 2024 is the perfect event for you.
The annual event, which is scheduled for Sunday, June 2, is a “pawty” that brings together live music and entertainment, more than 20 locally owned vendors, dog adoptions, food trucks, and beer provided by a top San Diego brewery.
Pupapalooza 2024 is put on by Second Chance Beer Company, a local craft brewery that supports dog rescues in California and Arizona. Through its “Seize a Pint, Save a Pup” pledge, the brewery has raised more than $257,000 for rescues and other dog-assistance organizations.
Along with delicious craft beers for human attendees, the festival will also include dog-friendly non-alcoholic brews, along with paw-some photo opportunities and more.
Proceeds from Pupapalooza 2024 will benefit The Animal Pad dog rescue in San Diego. There will also be pups available for adoption on-site.
The event is completely free and open to the public, though there are “Very Important Pup” tickets available for $125 that include a VIP gift bag, a 10-minute professional photo shoot, complimentary dog drink, and 10% off purchase from Puppy Picnic Co., which sells a variety of trendy dog and picnic items.
Vendors at the event will include:
- Bebe Clays
- Cookies & Co
- Go Go K9
- Kahoots
- Kiki’s Pawtique
- Pet Power Studio
- Scenthound
- Spread Pawzitivity
- Zoom Room
Pupapalooza 2024 will take place at the Mission Bay Resort from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 2, 2024. For additional information, visit the official website.
