4 San Diego Restaurants Make Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat in 2024 List
A total of four local restaurants in San Diego have made the Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat list in 2024, including at least one in the top 10.
To create the list of must-try restaurants, Yelp analyzed a wide range of metrics, including submissions, ratings, review volume, and community input. The result is a Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat list with something for everyone, according to Fox 5 San Diego.
To be clear, the list covers the entire U.S., so the rankings are a huge win for the San Diego food scene.
Peace Pies
For example, Ocean Beach eatery Peace Pies made the list at number 53. The boho chic cafe serves up a range of different dishes that are locally sourced, raw, vegan, gluten-free, and soy-free. It currently has a 4.7-star rating on Yelp.
On the menu, you’ll find options like the Magical Mango Curry Wrap, which is made with avocado, mango and mixed veggies wrapped in a coconut tortilla.
Rosemarie’s Burgers
Coming in at number 40 on the Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat list is Rosemarie’s Burgers, which is located in Mission Beach. With a 4.8-star rating, the burger joint serves up a variety of delicious burgers and fried chicken sandwich options.
Must-try dishes at Rosemarie’s Burgers include the Little Sal slider, which is made with wagyu beef, bacon whiskey sauce, jack cheese, ranch, and arugula. The Nashville Hot Chicken sandwich is also highly reviewed.
Crafted Greens
Crafted Greens in El Cajon made the top 20 list on the list of best places to eat in the U.S. As the name might suggest, the restaurant has a variety of delicious and locally sourced salads, making it perfect for the healthy eater.
However, you can find a range of other items on the menu, including the Free Range Chicken Club sandwich, which is topped with arugula, slow roasted tomatoes, bacon, white cheddar cheese, and roasted garlic and served on an artisan roll.
Sunny Side Kitchen
Amazingly, Sunny Side Kitchen in Escondido ranked number 3 in the Yelp Top 100 Places to Eat list — an amazing feat when you consider that the restaurant covers great eateries from across the country.
As far as what to expect, Sunny Side Kitchen serves up breakfast and lunch options, including a Meatloaf Panini and a breakfast panini that has been voted the best breakfast sandwich in America.
