UC San Diego Tritons Basketball Host UC Irvine in Battle of Big West Best
If you haven’t yet jumped on the bandwagon of the Big West leading UC San Diego Tritons men’s basketball team, now is the time!
UC San Diego is in its first season of championship eligibility as a full-fledged Division I program, and the Tritons are wasting no time in making their mark.
Off to a 13-2 start (3-0 in Big West play), UC San Diego hosts one of its biggest games of the season this Saturday versus rival UC Irvine at 7 p.m. inside LionTree Arena.

The Tritons have one of the best backcourts in the country with point guard Hayden Gray currently leading the nation in steals, and shooting guard Tyler McGhie also sitting atop the national leaderboard as the nation’s leader in three-pointers made.
