Yoga Flow With the Seasons on La Jolla’s Beautiful Seaside Cliffs

Yoga is a powerful way to improve your mental, physical, and spiritual health — and that’s especially true when you flow into the seasons.

From the yogis in India who codified the practice to farmers living in rural America, living life according to the seasons is an ancient practice. This coming Monday, if you’d like to explore how yoga can help you do just that, you won’t want to miss this upcoming class.

The next Flow with the Seasons class is scheduled for 4 p.m. this Monday, January 19 at the stunning Calumet Park, which is nestled above the ocean-view cliffs in Bird Rock. If you need convincing about our use of the word “stunning,” the park also happens to be one of the best outdoor wedding venues in San Diego.

During the one-hour oceanfront yoga practice, you’ll connect your body and breath with the tides and the setting sun. All levels are welcome to take part in this yoga flow, which will be expertly facilitated and taught by local San Diego yoga teachers Lisa Durrant and Jamie Beaulieu.

In the long tradition of free outdoor yoga in San Diego, this Flow with the Seasons yoga flow is donation-based, though donations to the two teachers are encouraged. Participants won’t need to bring anything except a blanket for the ground, a yoga mat, and comfortable clothing.

Yoga blocks will be provided, but the organizers note that bringing extra is always appreciated. Additionally, you can bring a bathing suit, towel, and change of clothes for the optional cold plunge in the Pacific Ocean after the yoga class. The ocean dip is subject to tidal and weather conditions though.
