SDSU Aztecs Enter a New Era This Saturday
It’s a new era for Aztecs Football as they move into the season under the direction of first-year head coach Sean Lewis.
San Diego State returns home to Snapdragon Stadium to host for their conference opener at 5 p.m. this Saturday, Oct. 5. The San Diego football team will face off against the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors during the game.
Better yet, there will be many more reasons to celebrate beyond the conference opener. For example, this Saturday is also SDSU Family Weekend, Hispanic Heritage Month celebration, and the Extra Yard for Teachers.
Additionally, the Aztecs Football will be honoring San Diego’s local military with a U.S. Coast Guard recognition.
If all that wasn’t enough, there will also be free SDSU bucket hats for the first 10,000 fans, so you have even more reason to arrive early!
Beyond the actual game, this Saturday will also feature the River Park Block Party for Aztecs Football fans. Presented by Snapdragon Stadium, the party will feature live music, food and drink, games, a kids zone, and more before the game.
As mentioned, it’s a new era for the team, which tapped star head coach Sean Lewis earlier this year. It’s all the more reason to hit the Aztecs football game this weekend.
