20th Annual Super Girl Surf Pro Festival & Surfing Competition Returns Aug. 21–23
The Super Girl Surf Pro is returning to Oceanside in August, bringing together some of the world’s best female surfers in a celebration of athleticism, empowerment, and beach culture.
Now entering its 20th year, the Super Girl Surf Pro is the largest female surf competition and women’s lifestyle festival in the world. Each year, it draws nearly 800 athletes, and many more supporters and spectators, from across the globe to compete in nine distinct categories.
This year, the festival is scheduled for Friday, Aug. 21 through Sunday, Aug. 23 at the iconic Junior Seau Oceanside Pier Amphitheatre.
Beyond the ocean action, the free weekend event delivers a dynamic, multi-stage festival atmosphere that fully encapsulates the Southern California lifestyle:
- A Festival Village
- Free fitness, yoga, and Zumba classes
- Advocacy panels
- Beach volleyball, flag football, and other sports
- Live music and DJ sets throughout the weekend
This year’s Super Girl Surf Pro concert series features 20 artists, headlined by reggae favorites Iration, electronic duo Hippie Sabotage, rapper B.O.B., and alternative artist K.Flay. While concert admission is free, attendees are required to pre-register online for amphitheater access pass tickets prior to entry.
For young aspiring athletes, the Super Girl mentorship program offers an opportunity to connect directly with renowned female surf pros for a day of bonding, breaking down barriers, and embracing personal growth.
Whether you’re a surfing enthusiast or you just want to support and celebrate women’s athleticism and creativity, the Super Girl Surf Pro has something for everyone.
Entry to the event, including the concert admission, is free. However, concert attendees should register for amphitheater access tickets ahead of time. For additional information, visit this link.
