Celebrate December with These Holiday Events at The Conrad in La Jolla.
The holiday season is right around the corner, which means that there’s a full slate of holiday events at The Conrad in La Jolla.
The Conrad Prebys Performing Arts Center, or The Conrad for short, is the home of the La Jolla Music Society and its world-class performances. As you might expect, the Society has a full slate of holiday events at The Conrad planned for next month.
Here’s a small sampling:
- “The Magic of Bubbles” — A ConRAD Kids Series performance featuring Italian clown and actor Michele Cafaggi, who will bring his signature show dedicated to soap bubbles on Saturday, Dec. 2.
- Seong-Jin Cho — One of the most talented artists of his generation, Cho will perform a solo recital at The Conrad at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 3.
- Holiday Open House — A signature event in La Jolla that’s both festive and free to the public. There will be storytelling, hot cocoa and cider, arts and crafts, holiday shopping, and live musical performances. It’s scheduled for 4 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7.
- Davina and The Vagabonds — There will be two holiday-themed shows performed by this high-energy and top-tier musical group. They’re scheduled for 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 6.
- Matthew Whitaker — A 22-year-old jazz phenomenon, Matthew Whitaker will perform in the intimate space of The JAI with his quartet at 5 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 10.
