Mornings at the Museum: Show Yourself Some Love This Valentine’s Day
Valentine’s Day is often a time for external love, but Mornings at the Museum is an opportunity to shift the focus to self-care.
If you’re not familiar, Mornings at the Museum is a series of events hosted by Novo Dia Wellness and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in La Jolla. They’re a perfect encapsulation of San Diego wellness vibes in one of the most beautiful venues in the city.
This year, Novo Dia Wellness is kicking off their wellness series with a heart-focused takeover of MCASD on Valentine’s Day. The event will feature “mindful movement, grounding energy, and a community that shows up ready to connect, breath, and move with intention.”
There will be a 9 a.m. Mat Movement class with instructor Cameron Kotch of Pilates Movement. At 11 a.m., there will be an Open Heart Sound Bath facilitated by Zen Diego’s Shannon French.
Additionally, the Mornings at the Museum event will also feature a wellness market with thoughtfully crafted or curated goods and access to MCASD’s incredible art galleries.
There are three ticket types available for the event. The Connect ticket includes the Mat Movement class, gallery access, and wellness market, while the Expand ticket swaps the fitness class for the sound bath. A third pier, the Elevate pass, includes both classes and a complimentary massage.
The Connect and Expand tickets cost $35, while the Elevate ticket is $60. For tickets or more information, visit Novo Dia’s website at this link.
