Step Into Best-Selling Author Caitlin Rother’s New Book ‘Hooked’ in La Jolla
Fans of literature and La Jolla won’t want to miss this opportunity to step into “Hooked,” the latest novel from New York Times best-selling author Caitlin Rother.
Caitlin Rother is a San Dieog-based journalist, writer, and the author of more than 16 books, including titles like “Lost Girls” and “I’ll Take Care of You.” Her latest title, “Hooked,” is the second book in the “Katrina & Goode” thriller series — and it’s set right in San Diego.
To get even more meta, local Italian restaurant Piatti La Jolla will host an exclusive book event at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 10 to promote “Hooked.” This is significant because Piatti La Jolla is the bar in the novel where the two protagonists first meet.
Along with celebrating the release of the book with a casual cocktail hour, the event will also feature a meet & greet with Caitlin Rother, including copies of “Hooked” that can be purchased and signed.
There will be light bites, a special dirty martini inspired by “Hooked,” and the opportunity to almost literally step into the pages of a thriller novel.
