This family friendly event is the largest Earth Day celebration in San Diego. Presented by Vegan Food Popup, the event will feature live music, speakers, and a plethora of international vegan food options and more than 100 eco-friendly vendors.
EarthFest is scheduled for 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 20. It takes place at Park Boulevard and Presidents Lawn in Balboa Park.
La Mesa Earth Day Fair
Each year, the East County community comes together to celebrate the planet and inspire the next generation of environmental stewardship. The La Mesa Earth Day Fair will feature hands-on activities, sustainable vendors, and take-home projects that everyone will love.
The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 20 at MacArthur Park. It’s completely free to attend.
Multi-Cultural Earth Day

Earth Day at Torrey Pines
Want to celebrate Earth Day in La Jolla? Check out the Earth Day event at Torrey Pines. This free and public event will feature Kumeyaay history, guided wildflower hikes, live raptor and reptile exhibits, and workshops on native plants and bee species.
The event will take place at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, which overlooks Torrey Pines State Beach and features a ton of awesome hiking trails. It’s scheduled for 9 a.m. through 1 p.m., and the organizers say that attendees should meet near the upper parking lot.
