Ever Wanted to Visit ‘The Bear’? Comic-Con is Your Chance
San Diego Comic-Con is here, and for fans of hit FX show “The Bear,” it represents a chance to step inside the fictional Chicago restaurant.
“The Bear” is a show that gives an insider look at the restaurant industry through the eyes of chef Carmy. The third season of the show, which has won an Emmy Award, debuted in June. And now, there’s a related pop-up at Comic-Con.
Debuting today, “The Bear” pop-up at Comic-Con provides a recreation of the namesake restaurant in the show. According to Eater San Diego, the pop-up lasts from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day from Thursday, July 25 through Sunday, July 28.
Unfortunately, guests won’t be able to actually eat at “The Bear,” since it isn’t a functioning restaurant. However, staff members will present fans and guests with a silver serving platter that is lifted to reveal a merchandise item that they can take home. On Thursday, it was a chef’s apron.
While admission to “The Bear” Comic-Con pop-up is free, guests must be at least 18 years or older to participate. The pop-up is located on a lawn across from the Hilton Bayfront, and near the San Diego Convention Center and Seaport Village.
