Free Yoga & Shop Local Kickoff This Saturday in San Diego
What better way to kick off the holiday season than a thoughtful wellness and “shop local” event that also supports small businesses in San Diego?
On Saturday, Nov. 2, Crave Community SD and North Park Main Street will be hosting a day of connection, wellness and movement, and local business at the North Park Mini Park.
Starting at 11:30 a.m., guests will be able to enjoy a free all-levels yoga session presented by Crave Community. Although the San Diego yoga class is completely free, make sure you sign up in advance on the Crave Community website. (And don’t forget your yoga mat and water bottle.)
Afterward, local elected officials, including Mayor Todd Gloria, will be giving a press conference celebrating 20 years of impact in North Park. If you show up for the press conference, you’ll get a free Shop Local tote bag filled up with goodies and coupons to local businesses.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., the Shop Local San Diego event will also be hosting holiday fun that will include a neighborhood-wide scavenger hunt, live music and art, craft stations for all ages, and free goodie bags for those spending $75+ at participating businesses.
This is, of course, in addition to the exclusive sales and seasonal specials you’ll find in North Park, which is one of the most up-and-coming neighborhoods in the entire U.S.
