Keep San Diego Pristine: PB Beach Cleanup & Party this Saturday, Nov. 1
San Diego has some of the best beaches in the country, and this Saturday, you’ll have the opportunity to help them stay that way at a PB beach cleanup party.
The word “party,” by the way, is intentional. Each month, the Purpose First Beach Cleanup hosts an event allowing participants to connect, have fun, and, yes, keep San Diego beaches pristine. From 2:45 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 1, you’ll be able to make a difference on your local beaches while having fun in the sand and sun.
The organizers of the event set up a tent in front of Waterbar in Pacific Beach. From there, you’ll be provided with gloves, bags, and long-handled pickers to help clean PB’s beaches.
Along with being able to connect with like-minded volunteers and beach lovers, the event will also feature a party-like atmosphere with live music, a meet & mingle session, a free yoga session on the beach, and other fun or healing activities like breathwork or tug-of-war activities.
There will also be samples, a group photo, and the opportunity to participate in a happy hour or Bluelite bonfire right on the beach. Occasionally, the organizers will have a raffle or other fun activities for participants.
The PB beach cleanup is non-hosted, and all ages are welcome. You won’t need to RSVP — just show up with an open heart and a will to keep San Diego clean.
If you’re interested in attending, the address for the event is 4378 Ocean Blvd, San Diego, CA, 92109. For more information, visit this link.
