San Diego Jazz Party to Bring Exceptional Performances, Legendary Artists to Del Mar
The 38th annual San Diego Jazz Party will bring some of today’s leading jazz performance artists to the San Diego Hilton in Del Mar on Feb. 20–22.
Presented in an intimate jazz club-style setting at the Del Mar hotel, the San Diego Jazz Party will offer attendees an exception live music performance in a relaxed, welcoming environment. Guests can choose to attend the full program, or select from special sessions throughout the weekend of live music.
There are several ticket options to choose from, including a Patron tier that provides reserved table seating and access to the full weekend program. Additionally, individual tickets are also available for the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday performances.
According to the organizers, the San Diego Jazz Party offers guests “a rare opportunity to experience many of today’s greatest jazz artists performing together in San Diego.”
Musicians on the schedule this year include Chuck Redd, Dan Block, Dan Barrett, Danny Coots, Harry Allen, Jon-Erik Kellso, Dawn Lambeth, Jim Jadeikin, Josh Collazo, and Peter Washington, among many others.
Specific events and performances include:
- Friday Night – Let’s Get This Party Started: 20th Century Jazz
- Friday Night – Gatsby Night: Come swing with jazz from the 1920s and 1930s
- Saturday morning – Big Band Brunch: Wake up call and favorites
- Saturday night – A Taste of Jazz: Classic 1930s and 1940s jazz, legend presentation.
- Sunday – Salute to Jazz Icons: An unforgettable, jazz-infused finale to the weekend.
Tickets to the Friday and Saturday night performances start at $70, all-day tickets for Saturday are $155, and tickets to the Sunday live jazz performance are $95. Full weekend Patron passes are available at $280.
