Unplug & Unwind at Trilogy Sanctuary’s Golden Hour Digital Detox
Getting tired of constant notifications, doomscrolling, and the heavy pull of screen time? Trilogy Sanctuary has just the remedy for digital burnout: the Golden Hour Digital Detox.
The Golden Hour Digital Detox, hosted by local vegan cafe and yoga studio Trilogy Sanctuary, is an intentional space to truly unplug right in downtown La Jolla. It’s part of a ongoing series of digital detox decompression events that invite participants to reconnect with community, creativity, and themselves.
As part of the digital detox event on Saturday, Aug. 22, Trilogy Sanctuary’s rooftop and dome will be transformed into an open creative lounge where attendees can dive into a variety of analog activities to quiet the mind and spark joy, such as:
- Reading
- Journaling and writing
- Sketching and painting
- Knitting and other tactical crafts
- Board games
- Networking
- Quiet meditation and grounding exercises
Alongside the analog activities, the Golden Hour Digital Detox will also feature both a calming DJ set and live music with OndaFlow, sound healing, energy readings, and a cacao lounge.
Live music and chill time will start at 6:30 p.m., while the restorative sound bath kicks off at 8:15 p.m. The event officially ends at 9 p.m., just in time for folks to get home and get a good night’s rest.
Tickets to the Golden Hour Digital Detox are offered on a sliding scale, from free to $15. Since space is limited, Trilogy Sanctuary is asking interested attendees to RSVP, which can be done on its website.
