Find Your Own Luck at The March First Friday Art in La Jolla
March is nearly upon us, which means that both spring is around the corner and this month’s First Friday Art Walk in La Jolla is, too.
The First Friday Art Walk in La Jolla is a monthly tradition that celebrates art and culture in the heart of one of San Diego’s most beautiful communities.
During the art walk, attendees will be able to sip, snack, and stroll their way through some of the best art galleries in downtown La Jolla. Many participating galleries will be providing both live entertainment and light refreshments.
Each month, there’s a new theme that participating galleries and businesses can interpret as they see fit. For March 2024, the theme is “luck,” and with St. Patrick’s Day later this month, expect plenty of green, various lucky charms, and St. Patty’s motifs.
The First Friday Art Walk in La Jolla kicks off at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 1 and will run through 7 p.m. It’s a great opportunity to see many of La Jolla’s top art destinations after regular business hours, and the natural beauty of La Jolla isn’t anything to sneeze at, either.
All in all, the mixture of beautiful surroundings, top art galleries and destinations, and a cultural vibe make it one of the best date night ideas in San Diego.
Attending the free is completely free, but the organizers ask that you register ahead of time. Once you do, you’ll get a digital map and complementary parking pass provided by ACE Mobility.
