After a rousing debut in 2022, with 17,500 fans and 16.4M viewers nationwide, the Cymbiotika San Diego Open returns to America’s Finest City beginning this Saturday. Featuring many of the top players in the world, including #5 Ons Jabeur, #7 Caroline Garcia as well as highly ranked Americans Madison Keys and Sloane Stephens, the Cymbiotika San Diego promises to deliver incredible action and star power next week.

“A great field will be coming to San Diego next week and it is an incredible opportunity for San Diego to see all of these stars – and an incredible level of play – in our small, intimate 2,500 seats stadium,” noted Tournament Director, Ryan Redondo. “Tickets are selling fast, so fans should not wait to secure their spot to see all the action.”
Not only can fans experience the action up close and personal, but the VIP area has been expanded to include new chalets in addition to the N. Baseline VIP seats and South Baseline VIP Boxes. “The Morgan Stanley VIP Chalets will be a unique way to see the action for any corporate group, or group of friends, and the price is quite reasonable,” added Ryan. “And, with access to the Tarantula VIP Lounge, including unlimited Food & Beverage, it is a great way to spend a day or night.”
The venue has also been expanded to include more seating on ServiceNow Court 2, as well as the Fierce and Kind Lounge, where all fans will be able to relax, visit the second bar and watch the pros as they practice on the courts immediately next to the Fierce and Kind Lounge.
In addition to VIP experiences and the action on the court, activities throughout the week will add to the event. Kids Day will take place on qualifying weekend (9/9 and 9/10) while the main draw kicks off on Monday, 9/11 with the Rady Children’s Hospital Celebrity match in the afternoon, featuring 2x Olympic Gold Medalist, Lindsey Jacobellis, followed by Military Appreciation Night at the evening session. The event will also feature many events as part of the “Women & Wellness” program created by the tournament, including daily player Q&A’s. Friday night, September 15 will feature a very special tribute to local women who are breaking barriers and inspiring others in our community.
