Farm to Flow: Soul Plunge Partners With La Jolla Open Aire Farmers Market for Free Yoga
One of the best opportunities to eat healthy, move your body, and connect with community is coming up in La Jolla (LaJolla.com). Enter Farm to Flow.
La Jolla-based wellness studio Soul Plunge regularly hosts events around the jewel of San Diego, including beachside yoga classes and musically driven yoga and cold plunge sessions. The studio has partned with the La Jolla Open Aire Market to host monthly free yoga.
The Farm to Flow is a 45-minute Vinyasa-based class designed to accommodate everyone from beginners to seasoned yogis. In August, it’s scheduled for 11 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 30 on the grass at La Jolla Elementary Lawn.
The flow will include a heat-building and creative sequence of sun salutations and standing poses before transitioning into grounding stretches and a peaceful savasana to close. Experienced yoga instructors will be on-hand to offer both modifications and variations.
“Soul Plunge is honored to collaborate with the La Jolla Open Aire Farmers Market for this beautiful fusion of wellness—from nourishing movement to fresh, local food,” the organizers wrote of the event. “Our studio is just a 2-minute walk from the market. Come say hi after class! We’d love to welcome you in for a tour, a hot yoga class, or some cold plunge + sauna contrast therapy.”
Better yet, the environment is already conducive to San Diego’s wellness vibes. The La Jolla Open Aire Market features locally grown produce, handcrafted goods, and delicious and healthy meals available to purchase. In other words, the Farm to Flow event is a great way to soak up San Diego’s wellness vibes on the last Sunday of each month.
