La Jolla Historical Society Presents the 27th Annual Secret Garden Tour
The 27th annual La Jolla Secret Garden Tour is coming on Saturday, May 16, providing visitors and locals alike the opportunity to see some of the most exclusive gardens in San Diego.
A highly anticipated springtime event each year, the La Jolla Secret Garden Tour gives guests a unique peek at secluded, hidden, or private gardens in La Jolla that are normally concealed from view by trees, vines, or foliage..
On Saturday, May 16, guests will be able to explore six spectacular La Jolla properties with both breathtaking views and unique settings. As in previous years, the secret gardens will also feature live music, plein air artists, and inspired tabletop designs.
New for 2026 is the addition of a refreshed and flexible format that allows guests to curate their own experience. A thoughtfully designed Self-Driving Tour allows guests to explore the garden properties at their own pace and in any order they choose.
Since the tour explores some of La Jolla’s best-kept secrets, the locations of each property are kept hidden until the day of the event.
Additionally, a new Lunch + Learn ticket option will include a delicious buffet lunch at a historic site followed by an engaging educational session with a master gardener.
Self-Driving Tour tickets often sell out, so it’s recommended that you purchase them as soon as possible in order to secure a spot. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit this link.
