Ecstatic Dance Trilogy: High Vibe, Latin-inspired Grooves at Trilogy Sanctuary
Later this month, Trilogy Sanctuary will host an evening of music, movement, and community at its Ecstatic Dance Trilogy event in downtown La Jolla (LaJolla.com).
The event, scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 29, gives Trilogy Sanctuary’s regular ecstatic dance events a thoroughly Latin vibe. It will feature electronic music by Mexico City-based artist Nataliyah Bravo. Bravo will be accompanied by Colombian saxophonists Nino Leon, who is also known as LionChild.
“Expect a musical journey blending deep electronic beats, Latin rhythms, indigenous instruments, and live ceremonial music, carrying the dance from grounded presence into ecstatic celebration,” Trilogy Sanctuary wrote of the event.
After the upbeat dance session, Bravo and LionChild will close the evening with a grounding sound bath that will include live ceremonial vocals and instrumentation.
The evening kicks off with a warmup dance session at 7 p.m. and an opening circle at 7:50 p.m. before moving into the ecstatic dance journey at 8 p.m. The sound bath and closing circle is scheduled for 9:50 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.
Like Trilogy Sanctuary’s other dance-inspired events, the Ecstatic Dance Trilogy will be a substance-free experience where guests are encouraged to tune into their bodies and move intuitively.
