Rady Shell at Jacobs Park Announces Summer 2024 Concert Series
There’s a stacked lineup of amazing artists and musicians in the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park planned for summer 2024. Here are some of them.
If you’re unfamiliar, the Rady Shell at Jacobs Park is a beautiful location near Seaport Village. It has hosted a variety of different artists, including free concerts from local favorites like Jason Mraz.
As with last year, the concert series will see a variety of pop and non-classical musicians share the stage with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra. Although there were certainly be traditional classical performances, the concert lineup will still have something for everyone.
There are nearly 20 musicians who are making a debut at Rady Shell. This includes:
- Audra McDonald
- Harry Connick, Jr.
- Los Lobos
- Sister Sledge
- The Avett Brothers
- Geneva Lewis
There will also be a pair of world premiers, including The Music of Marc Shaiman,” on July 3 and “Field of Dreams in Concert” on July 19.
Other artists, including during the pre-season lineup, including John Legend, Peter Frampton, Roger Daltrey, Derek Hough, Kool & The Gang, Gipsy Kings, Gary Clark Jr., The Beach Boys, and more.
The annual opening night concert will kick off on June 28.
